Shaun is a clear communicator and he and his team worked efficiently and tidily. When we spotted that a downpipe also needed fixing on the day, he attended to that too. It’s clear that his roofing experience is deep, his approach honest and that he would never try to pull the wool over your eyes as others with less integrity might try to do.

I had a problem with my roof for over 5 years. It kept springing a leak in heavy rain and although I called on 2 roofers, the leak was not resolved. Third time lucky, I was recommended to Shaun. He saw the problem straightaway and my dilemma was sorted. Thank you.

The Chimney was very high and awkward to get to. There was no fuss. They came and priced the job, sent me a written quote, once the quote was accepted the work was done within a few weeks.

We had rain pouring in to a bedroom cupboard. We had several roofers come to take a look, most couldn’t find where the problem was, one said we needed a whole new roof! He has good communication, came when he said he would and cleaned up nicely. There have been no further leaks and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again in the future. Highly recommend!!

The scaffolders arrived promptly to install and move scaffolding and the roofers arrived and replaced faulty overflowing guttering and resurfaced a balcony roof and did the job all the work efficiently as per dates booked. Shaun made the time to explain + answer questions for other building residents what needed doing for a second roof job. Shaun provides a 10 year guarantee which also gives peace of mind that it’s a job well done.

Sean went out of his way to adjust his schedule to come round quickly to inspect, sent us a quote when he said he would, and arranged for the scaffolders and the repair work to be carried out within a couple of weeks rather than the months suggested by other companies. He and his colleagues are polite, responsive and professional and I too would highly recommend them.

Mummery and Mummery came highly recommended by the heating engineer and we can see why. Shaun came out quickly to inspect the roof and provided a very reasonable quote.
We recently had our very dated warm air heating system removed in place of a more traditional central heating system which required a flue to be installed into the roof. The work was very neat and the roof doesn’t look as though it’s been butchered as a result of having to install the flue. Shaun and his team were courteous and polite throughout and we will soon be arranging for them to revisit and install a new skylight onto our extension which is in desperate need of replacing!

I have always found Shaun to be professional and polite. He and his employees are also tidy and respectful of our house.
We used Shaun Mummery for a guttering repair (several months ago) which was causing a serious leak into our bathroom ceiling, as well as to re-cover the roof our our garden office / shed (today), which had developed a hole and was letting in water after heavy rainfall.
On both occasions, he explained clearly what needed to be done and an honest overview of the options we had. The work he has done has been of good quality and we have had no issue with it all. If we do find anything amiss in the future, I feel confident that he would be happy to sort it out. He sends out official quotes and invoices and everything is very clear. He also prices jobs reasonably, which is why we are happily able to always call on him.
I have always found Shaun to be professional and polite. He and his employees are also tidy and respectful of our house.
My only criticism would be that it can be hard to book him, because he is quite in demand and … he sometimes forgets to get back to you (sorry Shaun!) Would still unhesitatingly recommend.
